Black Walnut

Categories: Intestinal System

: Bruises, Constipation, Poor Digestion, Skin Rash

Black Walnut (Intestinal) is a rich source of the trace mineral chromium and is also high in iodine. Its inner bark, leaves, fruit and unripe husk are used in herbology. The tree grows widely in the western U.S. and Canada. Herbalists classify it as an astringent because it is rich in tannin, a toning substance. The ancient Greeks used the husks to support the intestinal system. It is available in capsules and in an alcohol-base liquid form.

Each capsule contains 500 mg black walnut. Take 2 capsules with a meal twice daily; for liquid, take 20-25 drops (5 ml) with water twice daily.
