Acidophilus (Digestive, Probiotics) is designed for those who want a large count of acidophilus in one capsule. One Acidophiluse capsule yields a minimum of 2 billion bacteria. This is also a milk-free product; the Lactobacillus acidophilus is cultured in carrot juice before being freeze-dried. Each capsule is enterically coated to allow the culture to be released only in the intestinal tract. It contains no milk, wheat, corn or soy products.
